HISTORY In 1956 the Bible Pattern Fellowship bought and reopened a former Congregational chapel at Warwick Road, Acock's Green. Then in the 1958 February edition of the Pattern it was reported that the model trust deed had been signed by Mr Norris Holbeche, Pastor R. G Tweed and Principal George Jeffreys. A full report will be shown at the bottom of the website. In the 1960 May addition of the pattern a full report was given about how the work was set up. See item on lower part of website. See below in a 1960 November report from Southsea Pastor Tweed gave a testimony of being healed of tuberculosis.

I was a young pastor in Birmingham from 1966-69 and met Pastor Tweed on several occasions. The Pattern churches held a conference in Birmingham during that time and three pastors stayed with us during the time of the conference. Pastors (Mr & Mrs) Tweed were very kind and encouraging to a young pastor and I cherish the memory.
