NAME OF CHURCH TODAY Now Closed
ADDRESS OF CHURCH The peoples Church Grafton Square, Clapham, London. SW4
NAMES OF PASTORS AND DATE WHEN THEY SERVED THE LOCAL ASSEMBLY 1956 Pastor Eric Marsh / Pastor Una Macmillan HISTORY The newly renovated building was opened in April 1959 and the Church was established at Grafton Square. In 1961 It was reported that Anniversary services took place. Interestingly speakers were Miss Una March (to become Mrs. Una Macmillan of the Sheffield church) and Pastor Gilbert Marsh of the Totton Church (Southampton), sister and brother of Pastor Eric & Mrs. S.Marsh took part in giving the gospel in song. Mrs Una Macmillan went on to serve at the Totton Church (Southampton) and one day returned to serve as pastor at the peoples Church Grafton Square, Clapham, London.
Sadly, after many years of faithful witness the roof of the church collapsed and the congregation could not afford to carry out the required work and consequently the church was sold.
